Measure from the middle of one shoulder to the hem edge.

Measure under armpits, around shoulder blades, and over the fullest part of the bust. (Make sure to not pull the tape measure too hard.)

Measure around the natural waistline.

Measure straight from one shoulder seam to the other. (Except for the drop shoulder garment. )

This is the perfect coat for fall. I get tons of compliments when I wear it. There is a lot of extra material around the hips and I didn't realize that when I ordered it, but I still love it and think it makes more of a statement piece as it is... I just wasn't expecting it and couldn't tell from the pics.

I usually would wear a size US Large as I am a US12. I first ordered the Coral Colour in a size XL as most reviews stated that the coat ran small. The XL was tight. I couldn't raise my hands while wearing it. So, I returned for an XXL. This one fits just right. it's a really beautiful piece though pricey. So to acquiesce with the other reviews, yes it does run small. But once you get the size right, you can wear this for ten years or more.

I was skeptical when I ordered from this site, but I am very happy with the coat when it arrived. It is a quality material, true to the size, it can match both casual and elegant wardrobe. The right coat for the fall season!
