MEASURING GUIDE

ALength: Measure from the middle of one shoulder to the hem edge.
BBust: Measure under armpits, around shoulder blades, and over the fullest part of the bust. (Make sure to not pull the tape measure too hard.)
CWaist: Measure around the natural waistline.
DShoulder: Measure straight from one shoulder seam to the other. (Except for the drop shoulder garment. )
ESleeves: Measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.

ALength: Measure from the top of the waistline to the hem edge.
BWaist: Measure straight from one side to the other.
CHip (If needed): Measure around its fullest part (about 8 inches. Below waist), keeping the tape horizontal.

I bought this dress because I was drawn to the beautiful, saturated color, and since I wear vintage-looking styles, I felt this looked like an early 1960's cocktail dress-love it! My measurements are 41" over-bust, 34/36 E/F/G bra, 31" waist, 41" hips, 165 lbs., and 5'9" tall. I'm glad I ordered the Large because it fits snugly, comfortable because the fabric has a nice stretch, but snug. The neckline is great if you're modest, covers everything, yet still leans a little sexy. I am long-waisted, and along with my bust, this takes up a little more room, maybe this won't be quite as snug on you. I am not wearing any shapewear other than a bra in my pics, so that, along with a good steaming, will make this dress look even better. Side note: Matching vintage earrings and bracelet, Nina Shoes.
